I, Her, Me

The performance has two versions, one for theatrical spaces and the site-specific one for urban spaces and landscapes.

In “I, Her, Me”, Atacama gathers elements of its previous three productions by

focusing both gaze and camera lens on a sole female performer.

Floating among conflicting feelings

The infinite, countless aspects of the human soul, which can move from joy to sorrow, fear to wonder, pleasure to shame in the span of a second. Revealing the contradictions of the human soul, its “leaps and falls, sudden changes and irresolvable contradictions”.

“Deconstructing movements, splitting and fragmenting” them.

Navigating one’s nature and human condition.

Strength and fragility, courage and fear as states which coexist and are connected.

An investigation of a spiritual revelation; a performed study of the “’female heroic body’, naked in its exposure, skinless and defenceless”.
