AQuarium – Uscite di Emergenza

Joan de Mehji’s score found as the sound carpet of this piece recreates in music the movement of 6 tropical fish in an aquarium: the neon tetra, electric eel, angel fish, zebrafish, seahorse and guppy. Each of them is given a musical phrase that merges with the others in the finale. The aquarium as an enclosed space merges the different energies to arrive at an overall harmony in complete diversity, no longer distinguishing the parts from the whole.
