“Dinamiche del Core”. Words of dance.
Two days of performances and reflections on contemporary dance. Rome, Teatro Palladium.
In the end, on stage, the company Atacama with “The Ambit”. In a semi dark scene, two characters illuminated by two different spotlights observe and study each other from a distance. Each of them has their own “ambit” and enclosure, a space for identification, delimitation and defence of themselves.
These ideal characters of a philosophical debate on the relation and connection between a man and his “other” become the universal representation of the desire to interact, as well as the fear of the “different”, the anxiety about the unknown and the attempt to communicate with people. With agile movements and significant dialogues, the two performers Patrizia Cavola and Ivan Truol capture our imagination, amuse us and make us reflect. A modern fairy tale and an ideal journey about the meaning of relationships and about the reaction to meeting other people, undesired observers and unknown invaders of an ambit-perimeter to defend. Fascinating and original creation, very well and elegantly interpreted.
